Board Accepts Manager's Resignation, Chief Appointed to Fill Role Temporarily

The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors on Wednesday bid farewell to manager Joe Czajkowski, who is serving his last week in the position. Czajkowski announced in February that he planned to take a job as township manager for Lower Salford Township in Montgomery County. Board Chairman Mike Gallagher praised Czajkowski and thanked him for his service to the township. “One of the most important things Joe did for me and the rest of the board was to always be prepared to address the issues we were facing,” Gallagher said.
