Alleged Vandal Waives Hearing

The criminal mischief charge against Max Rosen, which was initially a third-degree felony, has been reduced to a first-degree misdemeanor.

Max Rosen, one of the four suspects in the Roberts Ridge vandalism case, waived his preliminary hearing today in front of District Judge Donald Nasshorn. The charges are associated with what police believe is Rosen's involvement in a $19,000 vandalism spree back in May. The criminal mischief charge against Rosen, which was initially a third-degree felony, was reduced to a first-degree misdemeanor. The change was made based on the extent of damage authorities believe Rosen should be held accountable for if found guilty. Why should law-abiding taxpayers have to flip the bill? Wishful thinking, I know.   more ›
