Romney Lays Out His Vision, Vows to Win Race

The Republican nominee comes to Delaware County to fire up the base and lay down the gauntlet as the first Presidential debate approaches.

Conceding nothing to his opponent in Pennsylvania, Republican presidential hopeful and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney took the stage at Valley Forge Military Academy and College in Wayne Friday at lunch time to declare that he will win the battleground state and the White House. Standing in front of Valley Forge Cadets sitting ramrod straight and motionless in full dress uniforms, Romney said he will restore military budgets and put the United States in a leadership role in the world "once again." Romney Campaign Opens "Victory Office" in Bucks

With just over three months until the election, GOP "Super Saturday" aimed to energize grassroots support in Bucks County.

Doylestown Borough Republican committeeman Joe Flood was prepared to spend several hours Saturday knocking on doors with one goal in mind. “We’ve lost a sense of optimism in this country,” he said. “I want to get it back.” Flood was among 50 or so stalwart Republicans who braved oppressive heat and humidity Saturday morning to mark the opening of a “Victory Office” on Broad Street in Doylestown.
