Plans for Newtown Trailer Park 'Full Steam Ahead'
County Builders has submitted a plan for a 56-pad mobile home park in Newtown Township.
A 56-pad mobile home park just 30 feet from Headly and Wiltshire Walk has been proposed for the Newtown Swim Club site in Newtown Township. The swim club is closing after this summer and owner David Platt is working with County Builders to create a residential development on the 16.6-acre property. The application that has been submitted to Newtown Township for the mobile home park comes after a plan for townhomes was shot down by the Board of Supervisors. The application for a mobile home park will come before the township’s Planning Board later this month or early next month, Board of Supervisors chairman Mike Gallagher said. In November, Platt came before the township Board of Supervisors with a plan for 52 townhomes on the property. …
