Devin Gold Scores 1,000th Point in Victory Over Bensalem
Devin Gold scored her 1,000th point Tuesday to lead Council Rock North over Bensalem, 68-39.
The last time these two teams met back in January, Council Rock North won easily by 19 points. But the fans who came to Tuesday's game only had two questions in mind when entering the gym: how many points was the home team going to win by and how long would it take untill senior Devon Gold scored her 1,000th point? Bensalem hung in there for the first four minutes, when the score was tied 7-7. Other than Gold, who stayed in the game, the four regular starters returned to the bench before half time and Bensalem never had a chance after that.
