Council Rock North Overcomes Slow Start to Clip William Tennent, 50-30

Council Rock North head coach Derek Wright is well aware that even with a team as talented as his, there are going to be nights when his offense struggles to find its rhythm. Friday was one of those nights. Despite poor shooting for much of the game and an especially lethargic first half, Wright’s Indians were able to buckle down in the second half and pull away from visiting William Tennent for a 50-30 victory. The 50 points scored by North was its second-lowest point total of the season as the junior tandem of Arron Goodman and Aaron Morgan was held largely in check by Tennent’s up-tempo half-court defense.
