ABC News: Teen Behind CR South Threat Had Guns

The student is in police custody, Northampton Township Police Chief Barry Pilla said.

The teen behind the threat that prompted officials to close Council Rock High School South today was in possession of guns, Action News reported. The student is in police custody, Northampton Township Police Chief Barry Pilla said. Two handguns were found at his home, Action News reported. According to Superintendent Mark Klein, on Thursday evening, the district received information about a threat specific to South. No further details about the nature of the threat have been released. Northampton Township police department conducted an investigation into the threat.
