Council Rock Grad Needs Marrow Transplant
A bone marrow donor drive will be held in Richboro on Saturday, Nov. 24.
A 21-year-old Council Rock South graduate who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma two years ago needs a marrow transplant. His brother and sister were tested, but aren't a match, so in attempt to find a match, a marrow donor drive will be held Saturday, Nov. 24 at the Northampton Township Administration Building. "He needs a marrow transplant," Richboro resident Harry Murray told the board of supervisors earlier this month. "We are running out of options and his life depends on help from you and I." Murray explained that the young resident, named Nick, has gone through grueling medical procedures, but has not complained once.
