They haven't made an official announcement yet. When I spoke with Dr. Pladus earlier he said they will make a decision around 7 p.m., so I am awaiting the decision.

According to their website (http://www.community-cupboard.org), the Community Cupboard services families and individuals whose incomes fall below the poverty line. Just because this family lost the contents of their home in a fire (http://patch.com/A-3Skr) and needs support rebuilding their lives does not mean they live below the poverty line.
