Native Plant and Seed Swap

Got Natives? Pot 'em up!

Newtown Township’s Bird Town is hosting a native plant
and seed exchange on Saturday, September 21 from 8am to 12 noon, rain or shine, at the township municipal building parking lot.

Using native plants contributes to the health and often the restoration of local ecosystems. Planting natives in urban or suburban settings helps restore the character of the land and places fewer demands on limited natural resources.

If you don’t have any native plants to exchange, plants  can be had for $1-2 donations.  All donations benefit Newtown Township Bird Town.  For swap rules and other FAQ’s please visit the Newtown Township Bird Town webpage: www.newtowneac.wix.com/birdtown or the Environmental Advisory Committee’s Facebook page:  www.facebook.com/NewtownTownshipEAC

Newtown Township residents get a free voucher
for seed packet or plant when you drop off any electronic device/s for recycling at the Leck E-waste recycling event being held at the same time (while supplies last)!
