Innovative Teen Learning Center to Open in Newtown

For teens who feel stuck in traditional school, the Newtown Learning Cooperative can be a life changing opportunity.

The Newtown Learning Cooperative will be holding its first public information session as we look to launch the new center in the coming months.  We will be meeting at the Lubavitch Center at 25 State St. in Newtown, PA at 7pm on Tuesday, October 1st.

This meeting is for families with teenagers who might be looking for new educational options, potential volunteers for the new center, and those who are interested in helping to support an important new initiative in the Newtown area.

We will describe how our innovative educational model works and how we support teenagers to leave traditional public and private schools to create a life and education based on their interests, goals and abilities.  The Newtown Learning Cooperative will be modeled after the successful Princeton Learning Cooperative.  You can visit PLC's website for more information about this approach to education.

Please be in touch for more details or if you would like to be at the meeting, but are unable to attend.
