Trattoria Tiramisu Reopens After Friday Morning Fire

According to a posting on the restaurant's Facebook page, the health department has cleared them to reopen following a small fire on Friday morning.

State Street’s Trattoria Tiramisu, where there was a small fire Friday morning, has already reopened for business.

“As most of you have heard, we had a small fire incident everything is under control and we have been cleared by the health department to reopen for dinner tonight. We hope that all our customers and fans come and show us their support! Thank you! We will see you soon,” the restaurant posted on its Facebook page Friday afternoon.

The fire broke out early Friday morning around 6:15 a.m. Shortly after 6:30 a.m., it was under control.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out in the rear of the restaurant.

Trattoria Tiramisu is an Italian restaurant that opened earlier this year. It is located in the space formerly occupied by Palate, next to the shoe repair shop.
