Couple Arrested in Connection with Delaware Murder

Joshua Aaron Lemonick of Newtown, and Angeline Terek of Bristol, were taken into custody Wednesday morning. Police said the couple was involved in the murder of a Delaware diner owner.

Local law enforcement and the FBI took a Newtown man and Bristol woman into custody Wednesday in connection with a murder in Dover, Delaware.

Joshua Aaron Lemonick, 20, of Newtown, and his girlfriend Angeline Terek, 23, of Bristol Township, were taken into custody during the morning hours.

Lemonick and Terek sit in county jail and are awaiting extradition to Delaware where they face charges of murder, home invasion, robbery, kidnapping and related charges.

The couple is accused of strangling 59-year-Michael Gklotsos, a popular diner owner, to death in during a home invasion Monday, DelawareOnline.com reported.

The 20-year-old was arraigned before District Justice Donald Nasshorn Wednesday afternoon. Bail was denied by the judge due nature of the alleged crime, Newtown police said.

Authorities in Dover suspect that Terek knew Gklotsos and robbery was the motive.

Police from the Dover City Police Department made contact with Newtown and Levittown-area police Tuesday evening and provided a copy of the arrest warrant.

Five Newtown township officers and an FBI agent arrived to Lemonick’s house in the 300 block of Cambridge Lane at 7:25 a.m. and took the man into custody without incident, authorities said.

Just hours later, Terek was arrested while walking in the area of the 200 block of South Olds Boulevard in Falls Township, according to Dover police.

Dover detectives were able to identify Lemonick through tips gained after they released a grainy security camera image to the media.
