No Serious Injuries in Bypass Rollover Crash
A blue car went off the Newtown Bypass and ended up against a tree Tuesday.
A nasty looking single car accident occurred Tuesday evening shortly after 5 p.m. along the Newtown Bypass.
The driver of a blue car was relatively uninjured after their car rolled over and struck a pine tree near the intersection of the Bypass and Penns Trail, according to information released by the . The driver was able self extricate from the car and was transported to St. Mary Medical Center.
Firefighters, and responded after a witness reported the accident to 911 Tuesday evening.

The witness reported seeing the blue car “drive off the Bypass and roll several times through the parking lot of , before striking a tree,” Newtown Fire Association reported. Photographs show the car struck a black fence and left debris strewn in the parking lot.
Newtown Township Police are investigating the crash.
