Police Respond to Corny Call in Tyler Walk

A Newtown Township resident reported that juveniles throwing ears of corn at his house.

 

Local police officers are prepared to deal with , investigate vehicle accidents and do much more, but how often do they search for corn-wielding teens? Well, they did early last Wednesday morning.

Newtown Township officers reported to a Valley View Way residence after a homeowner reported hearing the unmistakable sound of corn hitting his house.

The homeowner told police that juveniles were chucking ears of corn at his house.

The man reported that the corn-throwers left the scene of the crime in a dark colored SUV, police said.

Patrol units checked the Valley View Way area during the pre-dawn hours but did not located the subjects.

A Google Maps view of Valley View Way revealed no corn fields in the neighborhood.
