State Rep. Steve Santarsiero, D-Bucks, will host a meeting with area business owners and leaders to discuss the status of House Bill 1776, which would shift part of the local tax burden to an increase in state income and sales tax, as well as talk about incorrect unemployment compensation rates that many area businesses received.
The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at the Chancellor Center, 30 N. Chancellor St., Newtown.
